The countdown is officially on for Job Shadow Day 2014.
The national day of awareness promoting inclusion at work is just nine weeks away and online registration is now open.
Job Shadow Day, which is supported by leading online recruitment website Irishjobs.ie, takes place this year on Wednesday, April 9.
Film festival screening of No Limbs No Limits
The Western region branch of CIPD, Ireland's professional body for HR and people development, is hosting its first ever event focussing on disability and employment on April 10 in Galway.
The event is in partnership with the IASE and EmployAbility Galway and is sponsored by Matrix Recruitment.
The event is all about appreciating the assets of Asperger's and autism in the workplace

A new documentary giving an intimate account of the life, challenges and achievements of young Irish woman Joanne O'Riordan, who was born with no limbs, will be screened at the Savoy Cinema, Dublin, as part of the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.
The documentary, No Limbs No Limits, follows Joanne's journey and campaign all the way to the United Nations in New York, where she delivered a landmark speech on how technology improved her quality of life.

Job Shadow presentation for employers
The Open Training College (OTC) is running a training course in supported employment, starting February 10.
The course is designed for staff working in mainstream supported employment services and is suited for aspiring job coaches, employment officers, day centre staff, those starting a career in the national supported employment programme, teachers, lecturers and PAs.
Conor Murray from the OTC said the course provides a “firm theoretical understanding of the world of work and supported employment.”
