That's really cool! - Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Cian O'Connor make a deal for IASE Job Shadow Day - Wednesday the 25th of April 2012. Will you be taking part?
The National Job Shadow Initiative is designed to give people with disabilities a unique opportunity to get a close up look at the world of work for one day or one week in April each year, enabling them to discover and learn about the skills and education required to compete and succeed in the work place. Job Shadow Initiative offers people with disabilities an opportunity to shadow a workplace mentor as they go about their daily work. See www.iase.ie
This national initiative is now in its fifth year. To date, hundreds of employers have already signed up to sponsor a person with a disability to work with them or in their company throughout the day on Wednesday 25th April 2012.
