Big EU Council Boost for EUSE Conference

"EUSE-2013-and-Irish-Presidency-of-Council-of-EU"

There has never been a more exciting time to visit Dublin.

From January to June 2013 Ireland is hosting the Presidency of the Council of the European Union so the eyes of Europe’s 500 million citizens will be firmly focused on the ‘emerald isle’ over the coming months.

We are very excited to announce that the 2013 European Union of Supported Employment conference, from June 11 to 13, is now an associated event of the Irish Presidency of the Council of the EU.


Welcoming this high profile boost to the EUSE conference, Ms. Sarah Togher, national coordinator of the Irish Association of Supported Employment (IASE), said the conference relates to one of the European Union’s primary objectives – job creation.

Internationally Renowned Expert Speakers Confirmed

Two leading supported employment experts have been confirmed as speakers for the upcoming EUSE conference in Dublin.


  
Dr. Paul Wehman
is a renowned professor, researcher, author and editor. He has won numerous awards and international recognition for his pioneering work in the area of supported employment. Read a full biography here.


Dr. Rachel Perkins OBE
is a mental health professional with more than 30 years’ experience in a range of roles, including as clinical director of adult mental health services and, latterly, director of quality assurance and user experience at South West London and St. George’s Mental Health NHS Trust. Dublin's Lord Mayor to Host Special Reception for Delegates

Dublin’s first citizen will host a special welcoming reception for delegates to the EUSE conference at the Lord Mayor’s official residence - The Mansion House - on June 11.

Lord Mayor, Cllr. Naoise Ó Muirí, will welcome delegates from all over Ireland, Europe and beyond to the reception at one of Dublin’s most historic buildings.

Don’t Miss Out on your Discounted Conference Fee
Save €45 if you book before February 15

People travelling to Dublin for the 11th EUSE conference can still get a discounted conference registration fee of €350 if they book their place before February 15th.

This discounted early booking fee offers delegates a saving of €45.

The normal conference fee, which will apply after February 15th, is €395.

As well as entry to Croke Park Stadium for the three-day conference, the registration fee includes two social events.

The first social event is a reception hosted by the Lord Mayor of Dublin at the historic Mansion House, Dublin.

The second social event is a gala reception at Croke Park, one of the country’s leading conference venues.
